No haven't tired either of those, so were yr main symptoms a sense of having a feeling of urine needing to be purged eg a feeling of urine in your urethra ( not bladder) that was causing this need to urinate to remove it ?

I would just wake up and feel like I would have to pee. It was an urgent feeling that I had to go right away. Yes, urine in the urethra. I don’t think it was a feeling in my bladder.
Take a look at the documentation for those two pills and you can get a feel for what it might do for you and if it would resolve the problem you feel you have.
