@jerlaz I'll throw this out there, don't know if it has any bearing .... I just had a cystoscopy last week after a pretty alarming bout of hematuria. It was the first and only time this occurred either during or after radiation treatment and only lasted about 6-8 hours, but looked like pure blood to me. I DO have an issue with frequency and it can burn a bit sometimes... related? RT was for both prostate and rectal cancer and guess what lies between them? The Bladder. My urologist only found damaged tissue from radiation and otherwise the bladder looked good. He said I may have hematuria for the rest of my life because of it. It's been about nine months since radiation and this was only a one time occurrence, so we'll see how it goes. If it becomes a problem, he can offer a few solutions ranging from going into a hyperbaric oxygen chamber to permanent urostomy.
Also, UTI, kidney stones, and some other conditions have been ruled out after blood and urine tests. I will see my medical oncologist in a couple of weeks, more bloodwork and have an MRI scheduled, so hopefully I'll get a clearer picture of what's happening with the urethra and prostate. As of now, I have "no evidence of disease" as you did a couple of years ago, so I will be very interested in following this thread and wish you the very best of outcomes.

@slowdo Thank you for your comments. I will post again after my next oncology appointment in a few weeks.
