Has anyone lowered their CTX score naturally?
My CTX score was in the high 600 range. I asked my Endocrinologist how could I get it down into a lower range so I don't fracture. Her response was that the drugs will do that for you. She wants me to go on Evenity. Has anyone had success in getting it lowered naturally?

@kathleen1314 How many milligrams of strontium citrate do you take?
I really do not want to go on a bone drug. I know they work for some without side effects. But the stories from women who get side effects are scary.
I have never had a TBS nor a REMS scan done and absolutely should. I know that the DEXA scans can have errors in them (ie., positioning, wrong Region of Interest shown, reading of scan by the doctor etc.).

I take the amount that research says works for osteoporosis....680mg usually two pills/tablets nightly.
Well, if you have a dexa where they have the TBS software they will run it automatically.
This search engine will give you the TBS software providers in your area.

1 Reaction@kathleen1314 Thanks Kathleen. I found a facility near me that will do both the Dexa and TBS. I have also found a place not too far away that will do a REMS scan.
