I understand how you feel but there's probably a good chance you will be hit. Drivers on the road feel it's there for them and will not move for you. I see it regularly. They feel sidewalks are for pedestrians/bikes and road are for cars. Stay safe friend.

@lisay1 hi 👋 here is a formula I use when I walk. I have our dog 🐕 a malamute, husky, Shepard, rescue from Ketchum Idaho. He was a sheep herding dog. He walks on my right, on a short leach. Years ago I acknowledged although there are laws cars should obey, in reality I am a guest in the car world. With this in mind I stay to sidewalks or trails. When I have to expose myself to the auto world I am very alert. I to the direction the cars are coming. I look in the direction but I DO NOT MAKE EYE CONTACT. When I get to the other side of the road I wave 👋 to say thank you to any drivers waiting for me to cross.
