hipsalve, I'll be starting my fourth consecutive year of Forteo. I really like the drug. While my bone markers look really good, the true test will be in the March dexa. I'd recommend a second round of Forteo. Tymlos may be more effective especially in the hip (if your name indicates need). Either is an excellent choice.

@gently I'm curious how you got your insurance to cover this. My experience with the authorization forms is that they always ask "have you been taking an anabolic for two years already", and a "yes" answer disqualifies you. The insurers, as usual, are behind the times and/or use any excuse to not cover something. It's great that you can stay on it!

@gently Thanks for your reply. I’m assuming you improved on your third consecutive year of Forteo? How often are you checking bone markers? Good luck on your March Dexa.
