@debhammel Actuaally, if you are on thyroid hormone replacement, you shouldn’t eat anything for an hour before or 4 hours after taking. Liquid okay if there are other meds you must take. That is some thing to discuss with your doctor.

@ndough apparently there's some leeway with this. I am following the directions given to me by my PCP.

@ndough I misspoke, you shouldn’t eat any food or drink anything other than water for an hour AFTER taking thyroid med. Or, you can eat & drink, but then wait 4 hours before taking thyroid med (on empty stomach).
