@curiouskitty, Oh my! I'm glad that you recognized that change in your breathing, and that you contacted your doctors. I'm sure you'll watch for that again in the future. Hoping that you feel better soon! Let us know what happens with your Keytruda schedule going forward.

Hello again friends!
My condition has changed since having my 4th Keytruda treatment. An MRI revealed a collapsed lung and I now have a PleurX catheter added to my accessories. Also 24/7 oxygen. For the better part of the last month I was in and out of the hospital being treated with IV antibiotics for a pneumonia infection. But I then had my 5th keytruda infusion and didn’t have further problems. Yay! After seeing my oncologist who did not see any definitive improvement - and noted my trapped lung’s inability to inflate - he will be adding two chemos to the keytruda for my next infusion scheduled for 3/14. Also has referred me to thoracic surgery to see if there is a solution to my trapped lung’s inability condition since I have pleural tumors as well.
I’m pretty apprehensive and would appreciate hearing from other patients about your experiences and if you have any advice for me. I will be joining a zoom meeting with a pharmacist, etc. for infusion education Tuesday and am uncertain of good questions to ask.
