My husband has been on Leqembi since December 2023. He completed the initial 18-month protocol of every two weeks, and then started on the "maintenance" program of every 4 weeks. We're very thankful that he has tolerated the treatment well, even though he has one of the APOE gene combinations that carries a slightly higher risk for brain bleeds. While we can't "prove" empirically that his disease progress has slowed, I am very pleased that we made this choice. Hope that's helpful.

If I may ask, how did you find MayoClinicConnect?

@dlynng Thank you for this. My husband is on the 11th infusion, and he carries the APOE gene combo too. But to date, no brain bleeds or swelling I appreciate the feedback. I'll share with my husband.
