I was diagnosed with an ascending aortic aneurysm last year 5.1 cm, and it has stayed stable for the last year. I continue to ride my bike, 1-2 hours a day My Cardio Doc told me they wouldn't do surgery unless it's 6 cm.

I would be getting a second opinion from an expert at a high volume facility that specializes in ascending aortic aneurysms and aortic root aneurysms, PDQ. 6 is well beyond the typical surgery threshold. The other thing that sometimes gets overlooked is people may have other undetected issues such as an occluded LAD or aneurysm on RCA.
