@casd57 Quiet river here I had been border Line diabetic since 1972. However: I still like my cookies cake and candy alot. I found the Apple cider Vingar can cure 2 dibeatus in six weeks if you follow their pla. That is 2 tbls of Acv and 4. oz water and drinking 2 oz 30 minuets before each meal lowers your blood sugar. But you have to leave the sugars alone. Thats My big down fall I give all my sweets for a few weeks and back at them again and maybe the reason I have Neurophy.

@quietriver I have also been a borderline diabetic for years. I have recently started on the plant based diet 6 weeks ago after reading "The China Study", published in 2016 by researchers Colin Campbell. He is 91 years old and still contributing to his company that promotes the Whole-Foods-Plant-Based way of eating. I am amazed how my cravings have vanished when I get all the nutrients your body needs. I eat a much more varied foods now and enjoy my food more. I don't need to lose weight, but with eating a LOT, I have lost 3 pounds and look more trim. I don't want to lose more so I'm including more whole grains and brown/wild rice rice. I have bought a cookbook they produce and another low fat, but I'm getting good at adapting recipes
