I had 4 rounds chemo late 2023 followed by 4 weeks radiation. My white count was running low after finish with a low lymphocyte count as well. He always said “bloodwork looks good”. After the third blood count like this I questioned it and was told it’s normal and would watch it. White count barely got up into normal 2 months later but the low lymph’s continued. Asked again couple months months later and he said it can take 2-3 years for lymph count to become normal and sometimes it never does. Just means I’m mildly immunocompromised. So I monitor it for changes but otherwise as long as stable, not considered really abnormal. White count was low again last time after being normal for a year but we just monitor and wait.
