A few things can help you to reduce your chronic back pain such as ideal sleeping and sitting posture, massage therapy, using recliner chair, avoid lifting extremely heavyweight, escape slouching and hunching while working on the computer, physiotherapy, medicine, exercise etc. My wife was suffering from chronic back pain 1 year ago. The doctor advised to use good massage recliner chair, do some exercise, eat healthy food and right sitting position.

My orthopedist gave me a little book named "The Back Book". It has exercises to do to stretch the back, heal sciatica/etc and prevent it in the first place. Most of the exercise involve curling the tail bone under, holding it there for awhile and flexing the muscles so that they hold the back in the right position. Peggy

@anny705 Yes those are all good tips I also have chronic back pain one thing I do that helps alot is chair exercise you can find on u tube afterwards I feel good pain gone for awhile
