I have a similar issue. My pain started within a month of receiving chemotherapy. But I have a lot of strange symptoms. I started pain management shortly after the pain started. That was 20 years ago.
Recently, I saw a rheumatologist. My ANA was. 1:80. I think 1:160 or higher is considered abnormal. I also had a positive SSA. My Rheumatologist didn’t offer any explanations. I get very itchy and sometimes have rashes.
I have really bad muscle spasms and weakness. I was a nurse so that’s not always a good thing.. I tend to look things up!! One thing I saw was dermatomyositis. That includes the skin and the muscles.
I haven’t been back to the rheumatologist, but I plan to. I don’t like feeling like a hypochondriac. But I think we know our bodies. Best of luck to you. I pray you find what’s going on and get good relief.

@kathan55 Anything over 1:40 is considered positive on ANA and studies seem to show that the level of ANA doesn't always reflect the level of symptoms; it can however indicate how much it's progressed and will progress going forward. Some autoimmune related diseases won't have a positive ANA. Having a positive SS is usually a strong indicator for Sjogren's, the test has a fairly high false negative rate unless the Sjogren's has caused enough damage to register positive. It's worth pursuing, a good doctor will sit up and pay attention to your clinical symptoms as much as your test results. You are not being a hypochondriac, like many with autoimmune conditions, you're having to study and advocate for yourself. My ANA has been 1:80 and SS negative but an elevated CCP, a positive for the HLA-B27 gene and obvious symptoms prompted my rheumatologist to start me on Hydroxychloroquine for Sjogren's and RA.
