I had robotic surgery on Sept. 30 of last year. I was fortunate - my surgeon was able to remove the cancerous part - right upper lobe. All the sampled nodes were negative. I still have a pouch of something under my right breast. It doesn't hurt, but I thought it should have gone away by now. I hesitate to call my surgeon-her work is done. I could call my medical oncologist- I've seen him only once and he did not examine me-just scheduled tests in March. I am in a quandary- my PCP would probably refer me back to the specialist.
