I had robotic surgery on Sept. 30 of last year. I was fortunate - my surgeon was able to remove the cancerous part - right upper lobe. All the sampled nodes were negative. I still have a pouch of something under my right breast. It doesn't hurt, but I thought it should have gone away by now. I hesitate to call my surgeon-her work is done. I could call my medical oncologist- I've seen him only once and he did not examine me-just scheduled tests in March. I am in a quandary- my PCP would probably refer me back to the specialist. Thank you for listening to me!

Hi @flegmonde, It never hurts to make a phone call. If it's something that you wonder about, it's worth the investigation. You may be able to see a nurse in the surgeon's office. Just knowing what this is may put your mind at ease. Alternatively, I'm sure your PCP would want to help too.
Do you see your PCP regularly, any upcoming appointments scheduled?
