Gabapentin, now at 1500 mg s day, down from 2400 mg a day, definitely helps my mild diabetic neuropathy, mainly intense tingling in one foot.

The problem is side effects: balance, spaceyness, tiredness. Reducing dosage helped a lot but has not entirely eliminated side effects.
