At 65, I was diagnosed with it last year. After two endoscopies (the last with a balloon), dysphasia, painful swallowing and vomiting subsided. However, the symptoms have returned. It's pretty rare, but I was hoping to have someone to commiserate with/maybe find or share information with.

Hi @bussingt - as Mayo Clinic Connect had this existing discussion where others are talking about l lymphocitic esophagitis, I thought you might benefit from having your post moved here:

- Crohn's and Now Lymphocytic esophagitis (LE) https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/lymphocytes-in-the-esophagus/

Hoping members such as @hopeful33250 @nascar4433 @kaforester3 will chime in with their experiences with or knowledge of symptoms including dysphasia, painful swallowing and vomiting.

What does your doctor advise to do next with the symptoms having returned?
