How long to achieve climax after ability to have intercourse returns?
I replied in my other post that I believe that the Cowper's Gland is likely to cause of my issue, but will be discussing with my provider in April.
Second question, with either Viagra or Cialis or with use of the erection pump and rings... how long did it take those who have "recovered" their ability have intercourse, to be able to achieve climax?
Overall, I can get close, but have only had one climax with intercourse since surgery (Feb 10/25 surgery date). Frankly not sure what was different with that one episode...
Manual stimulation has produced the climax, so I know that it is possible, but it is just not happening with intercourse... Any help here would also be appreciated.
TIA!!

For me the climax could happen even if I was having a problem with the erection firmness and stamina. But initially the penis was simply not as sensitive as before the surgery, although that did (slowly) improve at about the same rate as the improvements to firmness and duration. That impeded reaching climax for me. I found I had to really get my head in the game to achieve climax. It wasn't like before surgery where the bodily physical stimulation could carry the day. A lot more cuddling and romance was necessary for me to achieve a climax early in my recovery. I achieved full recovery at 15 months, and then the sensitivity was back to normal. Besides the reduced sensitivity of the penis, for me I think the anxiety/stress of worrying about whether I'd be able to perform contributed to failing to climax on many occasions. That was tough to deal with, but again it was (for me) a mental/emotional issue. My wife was very understanding and had realistic expectations, and that helped. As recovery (slowly) improved and I was able to be more confident, I eventually was able to relax more and just enjoy being together. But that took me 15 months to get there. At this point, I do believe the increased focus on romance and cuddling, coupled with recovering physically, has actually left me in a better place than before surgery. Best wishes.
