@rozie83 It's my understanding that regular water filtration systems don't filter out down to 0.2 microns which is what's required for MAC. That's why many people here, including myself, have special water filters capable of filtering down to that level. Several companies make them but I found the SafeWater filter was easiest for me both for the tap and one for the shower.

There have been other discussions in separate posts regarding water filtration and testing. Someone had posted one link for a testing company at mytapscore.com/products/mycobacterium-water-test I think that test costs about $439.00. If you type that into your browser, it should come up. I'm sure there are others too.
