I’ve had 5.9 A1C for long time my primary doctor doesn’t seem to think this is too high! I’m wondering if I should see someone else for second opinion?!?

@too Here's my opinion as a non-medical person but a 20-plus-year diabetic.

@too During the last 5 years, two doctors never even mentioned it whenever my blood tests came back as 5.9. It could be that for someone in my 80s, the numbers are looked at in a different light. Some of the other members will surely have some good advice for you -- and me.
