Your story, in six words

Are you familiar with the Six Word Story?
“A six-word story is an entire story told in six words. It is a short narrative that can have all of the emotional themes of longer stories—from funny to dramatic, sad to scary. It can be poetic or straightforward.”

Legend has it that Ernest Hemingway was once challenged to write a story in only six words. Others gave their own spin into the six-word novel - a personal twist to describe a life in exactly six words, sometimes called these Six-Word Memoirs.

@mikaylar Hey. Good observation. Did you catch my post about how to pronounce GHOTI ?
It’s FISH. FISH

GH = The GH sound in
enouGH

O = The “I” sound in “wOmen”

SH = the “TI” in “naTIon”

GHOTI Oh. Had how about explaining this to and English language learner: OU sound.

@hopeseeker22 Ha, ha! I remember that old "ghoti" thing from my youth, many years ago. I think it was about 1958 or so. I guess what goes around comes around. Thanks for sharing.
