'MIRA' ointment for neuropathy
Greetings - would like to know if anyone has any experience with a product I saw online called "Mira" organic cream. Of course, they state that it works miracles! If not, any other cream that might help? My husband has idiopathic sensorimotor axonal polyneuropathy and it's extremely debilitating. Oral medications had side effects and don't help. He also has stasis dermatitis, atrial fibrillation, and now is dealing with prostate cancer. Any comments appreciated....

2 ReactionsMy doc suggested Tylenol pain relieving cream, lidocaine 4%, menthol 1%. She said some patients found it really helpful. Unfortunately, it didn't do much for me but it's otc and might be worth a try.
I would really like to hear from those with severe neuropathic pain what products you have found to be truly effective in helping to reduce your pain, especially in your feet.

I use .1% capsaicin cream. Capsaicin is the ingredient that makes hot peppers hot. It relieves enough pain I can walk for4-5 hours without much discomfort. Use latex or vinyl gloves to put it on, as you don't want it on your hands

2 Reactions@bryce49 Thanks for responding. Ian familiar with capsaicin. I have seen others mention it. So, where do you get yours? Is it in cream form? Not sure if it might help my neuropathy pain, but, hey, who knows? Anything is possible.
