@jlp27 I am so glad to hear about the lidocaine, I do not tolerate pain very well so praying that the side effects are not so bad. was burning the only side effects you had, that would be wonderful. was it difficult holding the liquid in the bladder for 2 hours?

@jlopez7868 Please go back to my original post above in this thread. It details all of the side effects that I experienced in both rounds 1 and 2 of BCG (9 total). It wasn't difficult at all holding the liquid in the bladder for 2 hours; some days I forgot and went past the 2 hour window. After #2 BCG in the current round of 3, the nurse indicated that if I drank some water about 1 hour from the 2 hour deadline, the urination burning would be less. This did seem to help after #3 of 3. Even drinking water at the one hour mark didn't negatively impact my ability to hold the BCG for the required 2 hours.
