Anyone have Squamous cell cancer and where?

Today I was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma in the rectal area. Procedure scheduled for next Friday. Still trying to assimilate/accept/make peace with this.

@magscratch Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect! Unfortunately, SCC can appear anywhere. What procedure will your medical team use next week? Do you feel you were given all the information you need from them?
