@miked77 Some studies suggest a potential link between high lycopene intake and a reduced risk of developing prostate cancer (but studies have been mixed on this conclusion).

In this particular study, they wisely chose to exclude this possible confounder.

@brianjarvis Thanks for the info. I just checked my Centrum for Men vitamins and it contains no lycopene.
