Good result after one year, but they really need a longer study. If you read further in the results, there was NO difference in PSA, tumor length or grade group in the pre and post biopsies done 1 year apart.
So yes, one tumor marker decreased by 15% but the overall picture, not so much. We really need to know what happens after 3-5 years; do the results stay the same, get better in terms of tumor shrinkage and PSA score - or do they reverse and show less improvement?
It would be fantastic if men on AS could stay there indefinitely with the simple addition of fish oil and a better diet. One can only hope! Thanks for the article,

@heavyphil Agree. Short term results point in a direction but longer term studies are what is needed.
