Oh my : (((, it is possible that you now have umbilical hernia. I am not a doctor, but it really sounds like it. It is not unusual to get it after any laparoscopic surgery since probes weaken abdominal muscles in places where they go in during surgery.

Please visit your doctor as soon as possible for proper diagnosis and treatment. In the meantime do not carry anything heavy under any circumstance or strain in any way.

@surftohealth88 Yup, that’s probably it; could be ‘incisional’ hernia also but the outcome is the same.
I have one in the same spot and I’ve found that over time (4-5 years) it has improved. But if yours is painful or protrudes when you stand you really need to get that fixed; you don’t want it to strangulate and cause even more problems.
