Has anyone had a benign glioma treated with LITT?

I am schedule to have my benign glioma removed next week. They’ll be taking out my right amygdala and hippocampus. My husband feels I should have chosen the LITT (laser surgery) rather than the craniotomy. But I was not sold on it. I’m wondering if anyone has had a successful LITT surgery?
