Anybody diagnosed with microscopic colitis?

@donnagail I remember my Dr had me taking Cholestryramine for years when I first developed MC, more than 35 years ago. It was extremely effective for me, however I can’t take it now because I take thyroid med, blood thinners and who knows what else that doesn’t play nice with it. Not ever going on steroids though.

@ndough I have hypothyroidism, too and meds. I also started taking Cholestryramine. Am I not supposed to be taking the two together?

@ndough I have hypothyroidism and take meds. I read where I have to take it outside a 4 hour windows so yesterday I took my thyroid med around 6am and the rest of my over the counter vitamins and probiotics a couple hours later and took the Cholestyramine before bedtime so it doesn't interfere. I hope the timing works. I still had to take two imodiums today so I could go skiing. I did ok on the slopes. Hope I have another good day tomorrow.
