Help!! I have seen multiple doctors and no one can figure it out.

Posted by kbarnette @kbarnette, 1 day ago

I am Male and 30 years old. I have had the following symptoms for the past 4 years and they are constant to the point it is hard to go through my every day life. I can't work and it's hard to leave the house. Everything feels like a chore.

- Pressure in head and eyes
- Stiff neck
- Interior tremors in legs and back
- Weakness in legs and arms
- Feels like it's hard to move my hands
- Flashes of lights in vision
- Roaring in ears
- Fatigue
- Brain fog
- Difficulty breathing

My primary care doctor has told me it's anxiety over the years, I have seen 2 psychiatrists and have been on 20 anxiety medications that have done nothing and they agree I do not have anxiety. I have also seen a cardiologist, neurologist, sleep doctor, rheumatologist, ENT, chiropractor, ophthalmologist. I have done a stress test, sleep study, worn a heart monitor, gotten MRIS of brain and blood drawn. No one has answers and I am finding it harder to do everyday tasks.

I wasn't sure what group this would fit in so I just put it in this group please let me know if there is a better group. I would appreciate any help or input! Anything would help at this point.

Hey Friend, really glad you're here, first off. Second, I'm SO sorry to hear you are suffering and still with no answers (yet). Third, I must commend you for your courage and fighting spirit to go on. Now you're here and clearly advocating for your quality of life, which I greatly admire and inspired by. Fourth, I've been where you are (still am - everyday comes with new, ever-changing challenges; a beautiful thing, really) and I know the struggles all too well. Some of your symptoms really stand out to me and some questions came to mind - is (or was) your chiropractor sure that your vagus nerve is unaffected? How is your heart rate / rhythm (i.e. does it race, skip beats, etc) - what is your "normal"? Could this maybe a form of dysautonomia? Or, motor neuron disease....or, optic neuralgia, etc? Were you ever in an accident that changed the status quo (physically) for you, whether it be delayed or not? Has anyone done genetic testing (i.e. neurologist)? Just throwing some thoughts out there bc now you have me wondering and reflecting, which is actually a good thing! 🙂 I'm 35-yo female (w/ long, complex health journey), so not too far your elder lol. Wishing you strength and resilience as you continue seeking answers. Thanks for posting this - can't wait to see what others say, too!

Except for the last one, what are some symptoms that can be viewed by a doctor, measured, photographed, weighed, palpated, x-rayed or biopsied? Is there anything on you bleeding, oozing pus, malodorous, swollen, punctured, broken, burned of bright red. Such instances might help considerably in a diagnosis. You probably have a camera phone. If so consider photographing any symptomatic site involved exhibiting: Stiffness, Pressure, Weakness, Flashing, Fogginess, involuntary quivering and so forth. Some may require video. Adjust the acquired images to add date and location in ‘adjustments’. List any witness. Then return to doubting doctors, with visual proof, demand examination indicating photoed anomalies and see if physician still has problems. If possible, attach some photos to message to Connect and let us know of improvements. Remember that the doctor is your employee. 🥼

Did the neurologist send you for autonomic lab tests. Some of your symptoms
could be in the domain of autonomic pathology.
Do you have all of your records available and have you been seen at a university med center?

I think we would all do well to remember the dr is our employee! Too many of them seem to be unaware or even contemptful of this.
