I had vulvar cancer in 2022-2023. I had a radical vulvectomy left side. After surgery it was decided I needed radiation and chemo for 6 weeks. The radiation was daily for 6 weeks and the chemo was once a week for the 6 weeks. I felt like I was on fire from the inside out for parts of it. I remember it being uncomfortable to sit I know I used a donut pillow. They gave me some cream that made things better. I have been cancer free for 2 years. This is an aggressive cancer as I am sure you know so I welcomed the treatment. Best of luck to you! Let me know if you have more questions.

I was diagnosed in may 2023 with vulvar cancer stage 1b. I went thru radiation & chemo because I was not a candidate for surgery since I am very small & thin where the sun does not shine. There would not be enough skin for skin grafts. I am currently waiting on a biopsy report but believe the cancer has returned. My oncologist said because of previous radiation down there I most likely will not be able to have radiation again. Does anyone know what alternatives I have? Has anyone had this experience?
I am waiting to speak to doctor.
