Has anyone experienced shortness of breath while lying flat on on your. Side with reaptha? AI says it is linked to portal hypertension then another says no. I had no issues until 6 weeks ago now arrhythmia and shortness of breath especially lying down

Darn,@ss52. You have to be beside yourself trying to figure out what is causing your breathing problems.

I want to introduce you to members that may know more or connect you with others that may have information for you.
- @rhondaj has done extensive research following her time taking Repatha.
- @llynch17056 created a discussion, Started Repatha - Side Effects. You may find it helpful to review. https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/started-repatha/
-Also, I see you have read my reply to @jrm78’s comment about having coughing and breathing problems in a different discussion (Repatha Side Effects, What Comes Next?) . Here is a link to that comment/discussion: https://connect.mayoclinic.org/comment/1430164/

I can tell you I started sleeping in a recliner some time ago so I could breathe better at night. I also find serious side effects include high blood sugar, diabetes, and high blood pressure. Portal hypertension is high blood pressure in the portal vein so perhaps it would fit in this category.

Are you still taking Repatha? Have you talked to your doctor about your breathing and portal hypertension concerns?
