@1fancydancear From the spring till the fall I have to watch the air quality. I live in Vancouver BC and we travel to Revelstoke BC in central BC to visit my daughter's family twice a year. There are a lot of forest fires during this time in BC. You don't need to be near them to have a problem because the smoke drifts where ever it pleases. So from Vancouver to my daughters town there are days at a time I am stuck indoors from smock.

I hear ya! Fires are the worst. We have had one in the last 13 years or so in North GA. It drifted down this way and I could not figure out why I was having so many problems with my breathing. Finally caught on when you could not see your hand in front of your face. We have just decided that it will be road trip time if that ever happens again. Took me months to get over the breathing issues from that fire. I can't do smelly things in the house that make it smell good like candles burning or those plug-in things with oil. Bonfires are out as well in addition to wood burning fireplaces. Even a restaurant burning something on their stove . . . . we have to leave the restaurant. When hubby cooks bacon, I have to open the back door because of the smell. Not easy to deal with all of these breathing and lung issues.
