No side effects. My functional medicine provider started me at the smallest amounts and moved me up slowly. I started on estradiol cream and patch with compounded testosterone cream. Then I transitioned to pellet.... estradiol and testosterone
Progesterone also.

@gravity3 Thank you for the explanation. I questioned the functional Dr. about jumping right into the pellets. She didn't seem very responsive to my cream suggestion at the time. I have an appointment in the upcoming weeks and will stand my ground on starting with patch and creams and if all goes well, then pellets.
