@birdie60 The surgeon was great and he did a good job. The radiation went well. It was more of the unknown that really got me filled with anxiety. But all went well. I have been reading about things we should and should not be eating. Not that anyone has mentioned anything about it as yet. But it seems it should be discussed. How are we supposed to be taking hormone blockers if what we're eating is full of hormones? This is another question for my upcoming doctor visit. I hope all goes well with your visits. Everyone I've spoken to stated their surgeons were great. Buts some did not have to do radiation or hormone blockers because it was caught so early. That was awesome for them!!! Best wishes.

@srvtexas as of now, I don' need either per the oncologist because I am estrogen negative. However, I'm going to wait until my MRI results this week and genetic testing.. hopefully they can rush that so i have results before speaking with the surgeon. Did you have lumpectomy with radiation ? Would you share about your experience ?
