@1fancydancear I live in the Phoenix Valley, and the pollution here gets so bad, there are many days I don't go for my walks. Fortunately, our local news stations broadcasts high pollution days for those with asthma, COPD, or other lung conditions. It really affects me.

North of Atlanta, GA is bad too. I usually know it is a code orange day before they even announce it. Most of August, I have to stay indoors because of the humidity and air pollution. My asthma usually stays under control. The year that I had to pull over and thought that I was going to die on the side of the road was the same year that they diagnosed me with Pseudomonas. Looking back, I now know that it was probably not asthma that day but Pseudomonas. However, the emergency inhaler saved my life that day, along with the emergency room nurse on the phone.
