Scared and unsure about my test results for lung cancer

Cancer makes us all scared and my thoughts are with you. I'm wondering if you should get a second opinion and have a serious talk with an oncologist you trust. What's the success rate of the treatment they're proposing. What are the side effects? Can you live with them? What resources do you have to help you get through all this? I sat with my oncologist and asked her every hard question I could think of. I'm still hanging on five years after a diagnosis of stage 4 ros1 lung cancer. I would add that new treatments are being developed all the time and that cancer treatment today is nothing like it was even ten years ago. For example, last summer we thought the ros1 had metastasized, and it turned out to be a giant cell tumor instead. I was started on a new, targeted chemo that had just been introduced last February. The side effects aren't any fun but nowhere as serious as the chemo side effects for the ros1. My advice is to see what's being offered before you make any decision.

We haven't discussed any treatment or anything yet. I had a 6.9 spiculated on upper left lung 7 months ago. My pulmonologist said hopefully it's inflammation... So 6 months later I have more but on the right upper lung and I'm honestly not sure what it measures. He did send me a email saying we would talk more in March and he definitely thinks we need to move 3 months ct. I complained with my upper arms and shoulders 7 months ago and the aches seem to be progressing. I have a high tolerance for pain and I wouldn't say it's pain it's just difficult and different especially since I have been a housekeeper for near 10 years. In the 10 years I have not had this achy feeling. Ka sarra sarra I guess. I'm just at a loss as to what to do and do not believe there is anything i can do. We shall see I guess.
