You might look into “histamine intolerance.” Understand the importance of histamine for homeostasis but also histamine overload and the illness histamine overload can cause the body. Many of the symptoms you described could be caused by the body’s inability to properly rid itself of excess histamine or properly metabolize histamine and not necessarily food allergy. Specifically look into DAO gene & HNMT gene, DAO & HMMT enzyme deficiency and histamine intolerance … not allergy but intolerance.

Dr. Hagmeyer has a lot of information online that’s helpful in understanding this very complicated topic. Dr. Lynch at Seeking Health shares a lot of information to help with understanding, too.

@mimiz Thanks for the info. I have heard of low histamine and low oxylate diets, neither of which I have asked the NP about. Guess I will!
