@ffr
My cancer has also been chemo resistant. Just after the 4th infusion I experienced spotting and a tumor was found in the vaginal cuff just before Christmas. My last two infusions were cancelled. PET scan revealed metastases to lungs, pelvic and pubic bones, lymph nodes and other areas.

Started keytruda and lenvima today. Meeting with radiation oncologist tomorrow to discuss PET scan and MRI of spine to see if radiation would help treat lumbar and hip pain which started two weeks ago, and spotting again for the past week.

@mtstack I want to thank you for coming back here and sharing what must be so difficult for you. What time is your appointment tomorrow with the radiation oncologist? I'd like to send you prayers and positive energy during your appointment and hope that you receive compassionate listening and care from the radiation oncologist team.

Do you have family, a spouse, or a close friend who will go the appointment with you?

@mtstack
I’m sorry to read your story.
What kind of EC do you have? (If you had shared previously, I cannot find it.) I have clear cell.
My metastasis was found in 2 lymph nodes - pelvic & axillary - between my 5th & final chemo. I had been on a Keytruda trial and was eliminated from that.
Coincidentally, I am having a CT tomorrow. I’ve been having some back pain and wondering if it is another pelvic insufficiency fracture or a recurrence. Or if I’m lucky, just muscular back pain.
The ants go marching one by one…..
I’ll be thinking of you tomorrow and sending positive thoughts. 🤞

@mtstack Radiation to ease pain and bleeding should work. It did for me. I am not a good candidate for radiation, since I've already reached my limit. I have the same cancer as you --stage 3C1 (but possibly 2), having serous cell endometrial cancer. Carb/pac combo didn't work very well for it, as four months after the end of the treatment cancer was detected in the vaginal cuff. I felt pain on the left side of pelvic bone, no spotting though. The radiologist gave me a brief blip of EBR and after a week or so, the pain was resolved. Had to switch to Enhertu via a clinical trial. After a year of treatment (every 3 weeks) I'm now am NED. Even so, treatments are ongoing until they prove ineffective. That's the worst part of it.
Hope this helps
