After aquablation I continued to have urgency for a several weeks, but not as bad as before the procedure. I was told by my physician to cut out carbonated beverages, caffeine, and alcohol. I don't drink alcohol so that was not a problem. I had been drinking lots of sparkling water. When I eliminated that and drank only tap water, my urgency dropped way off. I also stared Kegel exercises.

@kocour Thank you for the message. I only drink water. I used to drink water and diet Sprite but when things got bad about a year ago I cut out the diet Sprite as I was told to follow the IC diet and that carbonated beverages could irritate the bladder. I was willing to try anything so I only drink water now. I havent looked into Kegal or pelvic floor exercises but maybe that is next.
