Having nighttime incontinence only after surgery

Posted by buffalo1 @buffalo1, Jan 18, 2025

Hey guys,
Had my prostate removed and for a whole month no incontinence at all then it started at night. Thought I was in the clear. Didn’t do much pelvic floor exercises cause thought all was good. Anyone have this happen?

Interesting that you have the loss of bladder control at night while I have it during the day if standing or sitting, but at night, I am totally continent.

Because of the problem during the day, I really can’t travel much because I have to worry about pads getting filled within a couple of hours if I’m moving around a lot. I’m having an AUS installed on April 2. That should resolve my problem completely.

If you have had radiation, then really the only option is the AUS, If you have not had radiation and don’t think you will need it in the future then proACT Can Help help you get totally continent? You need to speak to a urologist that specializes in an incontinence.
