I did my injection at night just before I went to bed…I was careful to make sure that the bevel of the needle was straight. My side effects ranged from a tightening feeling around my head to a racing heart/palpitations, to occasional nausea. After the injection I went directly to bed and calmly breathed, and after about 20 minutes those side effects—-and not always the same ones, never all 3 together—went away and I drifted off to sleep, I did not have dizziness, which my Dr warned me about, and her reason for injecting just prior to bedtime. I occasionally had a red area around injection site, which went away in a day. I always tried to use a sterile cotton pad to apply slight pressure immediately after injection. I think I was fortunate to only have these relatively mild side effects. Good luck!
