Hi, Has anyone out there tried ultrasound for idiopathic neuropathy that is from mid thigh down including feet? I have burning sensations in those areas.

@loriesco How long after your back surgery did you experience the neuropathy? Mine was a year and a half later.

@amanancy Interesting, mine was about that too!

Five years ago at age 82, I was shuffling as I walked. I found a practioner who treated the Neuropathy in my feet and lower legs with a Class 4 Laser. Within six months I was walking with a normal gait and moving freely around a Pickleball Court 3X a week. I still have numbness and tingling feet, but no pain and a normal gait.

I have PN, TTS, and a fallen arch in my right foot.

My podiatrist is having me go through ultrasound treatment on/for my pain in my right arch. I’ve had 5 of 6 planned treatments at every other week interval.

The pain has mostly gone away. Occasional flare ups have happened between sessions 1-4. None occurred between 4 & 5.

I used ultrasound for idiopathic feet neuropathy pain couple years ago at a chiropractor's office, aside from magnetic needle acupuncture the only thing that worked for the pain. I was wondering if there is an ultrasound gadget one could buy and use at home? Thank you in advance.
