@morironman I live in New Jersey. We had a foot of snow which is now almost ice. The mornings start with single digits and get into the 20’s.
I get out in the morning for a short walk with my cane for extra support. That helps reset my mind.
This morning after the walk, I removed more snow from the car, Shoveled a little snow. Hassled to get enough snow away from the yard gate so I could open it. Filled the bird feeders.
A few small projects to do so that the day is productive.
Psalm 118. This is the day that the Lord has made, rejoice and be glad in it”.
@morironman Walking is a fine exercise unless you have neuropathy.

Finally! Someone who agrees with me about walking! After my cervical cord surgery, I asked my spine surgeon his suggestion for physical therapy. He said, WALK and then walk some more. It has been my experience also that if you are in pain, walk some more! Just yesterday I was grocery shopping while my left hip and right knee were acting up. Immediately I was thinking I needed to cut my shopping short and go home. But I dismissed that idea, added walking in a couple more aisles and suddenly, the pains were gone. I went to another store to walk! Walking can also help your brain talk to the rest of your body. Walk.
