Hi
I’m 5 years post esophajectomy.
The margins were clear and all the lymph nodes were negative, that sounds great! What am I missing?

Brian

@brianpj12 5 years is great!! He’s been doing well but his oncologist seemed very concerned that after doing 2 more rounds of chemo post surgery he couldn’t do anymore. It was wreaking havoc on his digestive system and he couldn’t take any more. My thought was to do a Signatera test to see if there are any residual cancer cells there and then have the scan and go from there. The doctor seemed set on acting like there is still something there even though right now there’s no proof of that, which is frustrating. We have another new oncologist my hubby is seeing next Monday so we’ll bring it up to him. I’m just hoping things go well moving forward. It’s been a very long year!!
