@shortshot80 Hi Nancy,

I've been thinking about you. The last time you posted you had a tea to attend and also a birthday party. I hope that you had a good time.

How are you feeling? I hope that you and your family are enjoying this Christmas season.

Teresa

Hi Teresa, I had a great time at the tea. There were 24 ladies there. Each brought a goodie to eat. I took white fudge with cranberries & walnuts./ Everyone also brotght a "white elephant gift" I ended up with a cup that has a infusier (sp) for loose tea. Very nce. The birthday party was great. I was the only one invited from church. Birthday cake was something I have never heard of. Pasor wife beat egg whites till stiff and put them in pie pan and bake them She made six of the pan's of egg whites. When done and after dinner, she whipped sweet cream till stiff and put the "cake" together with the whipped cream with three "cake"s and then put blackberries, blue berries and dark charries on the top. Really good! some crunchy & sweet. I was really pleased to be there. Megan liked the two old books. I hear she has made some cookies. Will see if some come to church. . Me I have been very tired. I have to see Doc on Friday 12/22 and have a blood test and if it is alright I will have hemo on the 26th.
My husband, Bob, hi s brother Ray passed away from a softball size cancer in his head. He has been dealing with this for a little ofer a year. There will be a celebration of life soon. I don't think we can go, we live on the Oregon coast and Ray and his family live in Boise,, Idaho. .....shortshot800 Nancy PS ( Everyone have a wonderful Holiday week.

@shortshot80 Hi Nancy:

I'm so glad to hear that you had such a nice weekend with the tea and the party. I'm not familiar with the cake made of the egg whites, but it sounds wonderful!

I'm sorry to hear that Bob's brother passed away. It is too bad that you live a distance from them.

I hope that all goes well with you on the 22nd and the 26th. Looking forward to hearing from you after the holidays. Will you be having company for Christmas dinner?

Teresa

Hi Teresa, (shortshot80) Yes Bob jr, wife will be here. She lives near Bremerton, Wa.It takes about five hours to drive eo here. We will spend one afernoon or night a a local casino playing Bingo. We do this about twice a month. Should be a nice holitay. She is bringing two 10 pound turkiey's. Both frozen and that will be our Christmas dinner. Just one turkey and the other sometime in the spring before St. Patricks Day. For that I cook corn beef and cabbage. Boy everything sounds good. Merry Christmas to all. Nancy

Janurary 5, 2018, Haven't been here for couple weeks. Have been exceptionaly tired!. I am going to have a cat scan next week, Jan 10. See my doctor on Friday Jan 12 and if all is well have chemo on the 16. They have had me for chemo every 21 days. We had a nice holiday and we kept out of trouble for the most part. We did go and play Bingo at a casino, did not win. One day we will. Bob's only brother that was left died o 12/21 om Bpbose/ We could not go, trip too hard for us, so sent our two youngest to represent us at the celebration of life. Bob's family including him has had all kinds of cancer Bob still gets cancer on his hands that the doc shaves off about every couple of months. Now for me..... I still have not getten sick from the chemo, nor I don't have any pain. Praise God. I am just exceptional tired. So I shall keep up the good work. Have a great week! shortshot80 / Nancy
