I do recall reading from a subscriber his experience at the hospital in Heidelberg, Germany. He mentioned, many Europeans from various countries travel to Heidelberg for proton radiation treatment. As you know, proton radiation construction is expensive, hence the reason there are few in the United States.

I spent 2.5 months in 2010 at Loma Linda Hospital in Loma Linda, California (near Riverside) for prostate cancer proton radiation therapy. (Gleason 3 plus 3; PSA 6.47). My PSA has risen somewhat over the past few years, but PET scan and MRI indicate nothing. Aging process often increases PSA without cancer. Every male is different and as such, each case must be reviewed individually..and with second or third opinions.
