I am also new to PMR. Diagnosed in Nov. 2025 but my blood tests were also inconclusive which I don’t think is uncommon. I had the same symptoms as you but when put on 20 mg of prednisone the pain relief was immediate. After 2 weeks decreased to 15 with no problem. I love this support group. Has been very helpful. @saroberts63 OK, thank you and will count myself lucky. Muscle pain started mid december and by 4th of January had a really good idea of PMR. Blood test very conclusive. Sed test (96) and C-reactive (20) mostly confirmed. Those weeks of not knowing were hard. Yes, really like this support group and it helps to hear others and what might work.
