I'm taking 3600mg a day and could have some side effects, but it's hard to tell what's causing what since I take 9 different prescriptions for several issues.

@mrmacabre 3600mg of gabapentin is a LOT! I was taking 2400mg for several months having it increased over a year and a half. It made me drowsy and off balance. I' ve pared myself down to 1500mg. Which still seems to be effective for pins and needles feeling in one foot.
