I don't know if this knowledge will help, I too have asthma and have had it for several years. I use Alvesco everyday and Albuterol only when needed. My go to for more help in dealing with asthma and excess mucus is Elderberry syrup and Quercetin. " I use these only when needed.
"Elderberry syrup is a potent, nutrient-dense supplement derived from Sambucus nigra berries, widely used to boost immune health, reduce inflammation, and shorten the duration of cold and flu symptoms. Rich in antioxidants like anthocyanins, it supports respiratory health and provides vitamins C and dietary fiber. It is commonly used as a natural remedy for viral infections and to improve overall wellness."
"Quercetin is a potent flavonoid antioxidant found in many fruits and vegetables, offering significant anti-inflammatory, allergy-relieving, and cardiovascular benefits. Studies indicate it helps lower blood pressure, reduce cholesterol, manage allergy symptoms"
