Has your primary care doctor ever offered to refer you to a nephrologist? If not, I certainly would check and see if that can be done! Will you do that and let me know, please?

@gingerw no. My doctor never did and she left the practice and you can only see a nurse practitioner now. If you want to see an MD you have to wait for 1/2 a year. But everyone is using NP’s as their practitioner’s around here. Anyway she has never said anything either. Not that there is anything wrong with NP’s, I’ve known some great ones, but idk if she can even refer me. Maybe the doctor has to 🤷🏻‍♀️ I will ask her next time I see her. Thanks
